I'm in NYC*BUG in New York City, and have known Thomas for a number of
years, and am really happy to see NDBug's launch.
I am curious to hear about list members' technology backgrounds, how
and if they use BSDs, which BSDs or even future plans to use BSDs.
Whether you're brand new or do development work in one of the BSDs
doesn't matter. This mailing list should be a comfortable spot for
everyone, which I think we've done successfully with NYC*BUG's talk list
I am a sysadmin by trade, and also do colocation, and am involved with
a number of privacy projects. I use a mix of FreeBSD and OpenBSD,
depending on the particular needs. For instance, I just started a
project using flashrd (www.nmedia.net/flashrd) which is based on
OpenBSD. Most servers I use are FreeBSD for samba file-serving, AMP, etc
Looking forward to hearing from others.
